Grafham and Smithbrook are a club formed in the early 1900's (an accurate date is not known). We initially played on land behind the Leathern Bottle public house (RIP) in Smithbrook before moving a couple of miles to Grafham, hence the name Grafham & Smithbrook.
Grafham were founder members of the Village Cricket League which was formed in 1986 by Clubs who were already playing each other in friendly matches, but who wanted to play league cricket in a friendly but competitive way.
Today the League has grown to 2 divisions, but still has the same philosophy and Grafham are currently competing in Division 2.
We put out one team on both Saturdays and Sundays and as well as the 14 league matches played we have a full fixture program playing local and wandering sides.
We welcome new players of all ages and abilities. We play cricket to win but will always have a drink with the opposing sides at the end of the game.
If you are seeking the competition of a league game we can offer that and we also welcome those who want to play a good standard of friendly games.
We are easy to find on the A281 just past the Cranliegh turning a mile or so past Bramley.

Work parties are due to be held at the Pavilion on 4th and 18th April. 10.00am start all hands welcome. There is a lot to be done (as always), and the more enthusiastic volunteers the better! Nets con
